We are looking for Operations Specialist to manage reconciliation, settlements, disputes, and banking partner operations across card and payment programs. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with banking, finance, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless and compliant payment operations.

The Hats You Will Wear
Reconciliation & Settlement Operations
  • Manage daily transaction reconciliations across Credit Card and UPI programs.
  • Perform end-to-end reconciliation of settlements, suspense accounts, fee accounts, and operational ledgers.
  • Validate settlement files, accounting entries, and transaction reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, mismatches, and exceptions in coordination with Product, Technology, Finance, and Banking partners.
  • Support settlement and accounting operations through preparation and validation of operational files and reports.
Dispute & Chargeback Management
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer disputes and chargebacks across card and payment programs.
  • Coordinate with partner banks, payment networks, and internal stakeholders for timely resolution.
  • Track dispute volumes, ageing, recovery rates, and adherence to defined turnaround times.
  • Identify recurring dispute trends and drive corrective actions.
Banking Partner Operations
  • Act as the operational point of contact for banking and payment partners.
  • Support operational reviews, reconciliation discussions, audits, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to partner SLAs and drive timely closure of operational escalations.
Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure operational processes comply with applicable RBI, NPCI, and card network guidelines.
  • Maintain process documentation, audit trails, and operational controls.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and support compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare daily operational dashboards, reconciliation summaries, and exception reports.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend preventive measures.

The Perfect Fit
  • 3–6 years of experience in Banking, Fintech, Payments, Card Operations, or Reconciliation functions.
  • Hands-on experience in transaction reconciliation, settlements, chargebacks, or payment operations.
  • Exposure to Credit Cards, UPI, Prepaid Cards, or Digital Payments ecosystems is preferred.
  • Experience working with banking partners and payment networks will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong understanding of payment transaction lifecycles and settlement processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
