The Impact You’ll Drive
The Financial Controller will lead the company’s financial governance, controllership, compliance, reporting, and strategic finance operations. This role requires strong expertise in accounting, audits, taxation, financial planning, process automation, and investor readiness in a fast-paced fintech environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high-growth startup setup, partnering closely with leadership, auditors, investors, banking partners, and cross-functional teams.

The Hats You Will Wear
Financial Control & Reporting
  • Own and manage end-to-end financial accounting and controllership functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure.
  • Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, cash flow statements, and board-level finance reports.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor organizational financial health and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements including GST, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Lead internal and external audits, due diligence exercises, and financial reviews.
  • Establish strong internal controls, SOPs, and governance mechanisms.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, bankers, and regulatory stakeholders.
Strategic Finance
  • Support investor reporting, and financial due diligence processes.
  • Partner with leadership on business planning, pricing, financial modelling, and growth initiatives.
  • Build scalable finance processes and systems aligned with organizational growth.
Process Improvement & Automation
  • IDrive finance process automation and ERP/accounting system enhancements.
  • Improve reporting efficiency, financial visibility, and operational accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Product teams on cross-functional financial processes.
Financial Operations
  • Monitor vendor payouts, collections, and financial risk management.
  • Manage banking relationships, and fund flow planning.
  • Manage the finance team.

The Perfect Fit
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7 - 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in fintech, SaaS, NBFC, banking, or high-growth startup environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience handling audits, due diligence, and investor reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
